“We have had the pleasure of attending all of the shank shoppe events. Megan always puts on a professional event that not only takes care of the customers, but puts a focus on vendors being taken care of as part of the experience, providing water, volunteers to give bathroom breaks, or vendor bags with a snack for the day. The shank shoppe events ensure that vendors feel just as important as the customers and I cannot stress enough how refreshing, and important that is for new vendors, or vendors who may not have a partner there to support them during the full day. We do 24-30 events a year since we started on the bun, and always recommend the shank shoppe as our top spot!”

“Megan is an absolutely amazing coordinator of Craft Shows and Maker’s Markets. She is highly organized, is fantastic with communication, and does a great job advertising for her events. Especially noteworthy was the “added touch” she gave to her vendors… supplies, refreshments, etc. Megan goes above and beyond. I will specifically look for her shows to be a vendor with her.”

“I found the shank shoppe in a PA Crafters’ Group on Facebook. They were holding a market in the Mount Joy area. Megan from the shank shoppe was so easy to communicate with and answered all my questions. The event price was very reasonable. When I arrived, it seemed like it was not in a very popular area, but there were signs leading to the market and the event was so well advertised that there was a great turn out.
Two things that stood out to me as exceptional were:
1) before the start time of the market, Megan held a little meeting thanking us, letting us know about security, pointing out point people for help, and telling us about refreshments for the vendors
2) I let my husband pack the car the night before without checking his work before I left and he had forgotten to pack the canopy. Megan offered me a tent of her own! Her brother helped me set it up.
Not only did the shank shoppe demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, But their genuine hospitality went above and beyond. I already scheduled two more events with them! I would recommend them to any vendor in the area.”

I love attending any events organized by Megan as she makes it fun no matter if you are a vendor or just a shopper! She has great communication and is very helpful and has all of her vendors backs and makes sure everyone is well taken care of at all of her events! If you are a first time vendor and new to the crafting world she will make sure you feel welcomed and have you feeling like a pro by the end of your first event! I know for sure I will be sticking with the Shank Shoppe for all of my vendor events from here on out!”

“My husband and I recently participated in our first ever Makers Market craft show sponsored by The Shank Shoppe. We were attracted by the reasonable vendor fee which put more funds in my pocket to cover my own materials. The shoppe’s owner, Megan, was fabulous to work with. She is so organized and gave me pointers to be successful. Communication and publicity before the event were top notch. I loved how she did vendor highlights to show what would be available at the market. The day of the event went very smooth. There were plenty of volunteers to help, great sinage for the public, and Megan thought of everything (extra tent stakes, water bottles) for the vendors. Overall, it was well attended. I will definitely participate again in Makers Markets sponsored by Megan! See you in Mountville!”
